Business transactions / accounting law
In his practice, Alexander Reuter has been involved in the structuring of a wide variety of business transactions and Chambers Global has described him as having an "innate ability to create deals". Furthermore, Mr. Reuter has passed the certified public accountant (vereidigter Wirtschaftsprüfer) exam and therefore also handles accounting issues, e.g. off-balance sheet structures.
REUTER-LEGAL is engaged in the following arenas:
- Prof. Reuter first worked in the industry for 11 years and then as a lawyer in private practice for more than 25 years. During the entire time, he negotiated a wide range of business projects and transactions and attended to the contractual documentation.
- His expertise in understanding business endeavours commercially, setting out their structures contractually and finding bridges and viable compromises with the negotiating partners, is benefitial in negotinal situations.
- As part of his assignment at the law school of the Ruhr-University Bochum, he taught courses on the art of negotiating and drafting contracts.
